Return Policy
Nearly all of the items that American Grotto offers come with a 30 day return policy.
If you visit the product page of an item on our website, a return policy for that item will be published under the tab labeled........."Returns".
In the circumstance that the customer is choosing to return the item for their own reasons(buyer's remorse), the buyer is responsible for return shipping and may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
If any clarification is needed regarding the return policy of an item, please contact us via email, phone or chat to clarify the matter.
Return Authorization
No return will be accepted without prior authorization of the return by American Grotto.
If a return is sent without authorization by American Grotto, it will most commonly be rejected and not result in a successful return.
If you need to obtain authorization to complete a return, please contact American Grotto via email, phone or chat to arrange the return.
Restocking Fees
A restocking fee will not be applied in the event that a return is initiated due to the item arriving with a problem or damage. In this event, please contact our customer service via phone, email or chat and we will work to resolve the matter.
In the event that the return is initiated due to buyers remorse, the return will incur a restocking fee of 15%.
What is considered buyer's remorse?
Buyer's remorse is when the item arrives as described....but the buyer decides to initiate a return for their own reasons.
Some of the most common forms of buyer's remorse are:
-Do not like the item
-Found the item cheaper elsewhere
-Purchase by mistake
-Accidentally made multiple purchases
-Measured incorrectly and the item does not fit
-Bought the wrong item
These are just some of the examples that are classified as buyer's remorse.
Order Cancellation
All request to cancel an order must be in writing via email or chat. We do not accept order cancellations via phone.
Orders may be cancelled up to 1 hour after a purchase has been made without incurring any fee. After 1 hour....an attempt can be made to cancel the order....but it will depend on where the order is ....in the fulfillment process.
American Grotto reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason at any time.
